HomeMade Lego Costume!!

September 22, 2010

Last year I knew I didn't want my kids to have a same-old-same-old costumes. I lost the battle with my oldest who went with a store bought, but my toddler was putty in my hands. I ran across a picture of a Lego costume and decided to try and make one. I LOVED IT and I had so many compliments!

First up. I found an medium sized box and a small box. I had to trim it up so that my young'un didn't drag tail!

I cut out arm and head holes.

I took some Solo cups and cut them in half.
I hot glued them to the front of the box
See?!?

You can see the hat here too. I took a box lid and then hot glued it to a hat we already had.

Kid just had to try it on!
Daddy Spray Painted it for us! I used Word to print out the label. After paint, we double checked the fit and made adjustments.
@ Trunk or treat eating marshmallows!
My other kid/ninja b/c he is cute too!
