In just a few weeks the Chattanooga Market will open up for its 19th season, bringing back a Sunday tradition for patrons across the region. Anticipation of warmer weather and spring crops beckon shoppers to come out and enjoy the weekly community farmers and artists market every spring.

Nearly 200 vendors will be set up for the opening weekend of April 27th and 28th. Visitors can expect to find hand-crafted artistry, seasonal produce and live entertainment every Sunday on the EPB stage. April typically brings strawberries, potted herbs, floral bouquets, sunflowers and fresh artisan foods.

And every Sunday there is a new theme. Some of the traditional favorites like the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera on May 5th and the annual Mother's Day Celebration on May 12th. Cook-offs and foodie events continue to be a big focus at Chattanooga Market including the much anticipated Lodge Cast Iron Cook-off and Springer Mountain Farms Scenic City Wings

The season kicks off April 27-28 and winds down in November with the final weekends in December being held at the Chattanooga Convention Center for the Holiday Market.
